  • growth spurt... the nursing all day is how she increases your supply it should catch up in about 4 days.... if shes gumming your breast like a teething thing give her some tylenol and a frozen wet wash cloth but if she's sucking shes trying to increase your supply based on her growth spurt your breasts will catch up shortly but LET HER NURSE breast milk is based on the supply demand theory

  • hmmm..not sure...i would have said growth spurt...but usually a lot of sleeping is involved with a lot of nursing too. ask your child's pediatrician for an accurate answer. every baby is different, so it's hard to say what's going on.

  • TEETHING!!!!!! My daughter did the same thing...the sucking helps hem to calm down and kindo of relieves the pain . Mostly a comfort thing though. They really don't know whats going on....they just want mommy to hold them and be with them. Try teething tablets...in the baby section at walmart with the bottles and pacifiers......somewhere in that area. Tylenol and motrin help alot too.

  • teething :) for sure, cuz they can start teething couple months before their teeth come out, mine was all fine and then at 3 months he started biting everything, ahh!!! and two days before his tooth first tooth came out he didnt eat, only like 3 times the whole day, which is nothing compared to how he eats, his teeth came out a week before he turned 6 months!!!
so dont worry everything is fine :) your baby is normal!!!! :)

  • make sure it isnt thrush, i just went thru the exact same thing and i didnt know anything about thrush..and everyone i asked told me it was probly just a growth spurt or colic..unfortuanetly it took a whole week until i finally decided its more than just a growth spurt or colic and took her to the doctor to find out its thrush. can never be too careful.GL!!
