could this be breast infection, cancer or??

1st I stopped breastfeeding about a month ago. But anyway, underneath one of my nipple (on one side of the nipple), I feel a little lump, which hurts when I press on it. I can also notice that it's a little bumpy comparing to the other nipple, which seems more "flat" and doesn't hurt at all. Should I get checked ASAP or it's going to go away on its own?

  • I would probaby get it checked since you stopped bf-ing a month ago, but it may be a milk cyst-I would recommend going to see your OB since they're probably more familiar with BF/breast issues than a regular MD.
