  • I barely ever buy new clothes for myself or my kids, I get most of our stuff at yard sales. As far as shoes I do buy them new, but it's not every month. We have a very tight budget and we have to put money back for shoes and school stuff. I guess I buy new clothes about 3 times a year, school, Christmas, and birthdays, but that's only an outfit or two. My Dh is the only one who works we have 4 kids and we don't get nor need PA.

  • LOL I havent gotten new clothes since DH and I have been together before the kids. Now it's pretty much a lost thought to even think I need a new shirt or pants... Hell even a sock

  • I don't buy myself clothes except maybe once or twice a year when they are needed. Same goes for my husband, though he gets them more often than I do. My son gets new clothes when he needs them. He gets most of his clothes from family (hand me downs or birthdays/xmas). He gets new shoes when he needs a bigger size or the old ones are worn out!!

  • I used to shop like crazy! That pretty much stopped after I had my daughter. Now I am buying clothes for her like crazy. I actually told my husband that I hadn't bought a pair of shoes for me in like four months. He said, well it doesn't matter if you didn't buy it for yourself, you bought like twenty pairs for Olivia! lol Oh well. I would rather shop for her anyway. Little Girl clothes are so cute!

  • We buy what we need when we need it. I can't imagine a 7 year old outgrowing everything evey four months

  • LOL I could not afford a new wardrobe for all family members 3 times a year. I have some clothes that are 10+ years old, I buy a new or used piece here and there, my 5 year old I buy a few new things, like a new Christmas outfit, but I also buy lots of his size on eBay and such

  • i wish we could afford to buy new clothes and shoes every month! my dd gets a lot of her clothes from her grandparents (we live far away and they like to send a box of dresses and what nots for her once a month) other than that, we will buy clothes when she needs them or when we see something that is crazy cheap.

  • I am constantly thinking about what evereryone needs now and will be needing in the future as far as clothes go-I hate it mind you but we live on a VERY tight budget and if I see something on sale or at a resale store I try and scoop it up. My kids usually get between 100 per month in clothes combined and there are two of them. My dh and I keep our clothes longer since we are not wearing them out and growing any more. I would say we spend less on our selves.
