when you say the Lord's Prayer

do you say forgive us our trespasses or forgive us our debts? I have heard it said both ways.

  • It depends on your denomination and how it was taught to you - it doesn't really matter either way.

  • We use debts, debtors. It honestly doesn't matter to me.

  • I personally use trespasses, but that's just the way I heard it growing up - either is acceptable, though.
