Former comedian Al Franken will be sworn into office today, July 7, as Minnesota’s second senator, the Democratic party’s 60th, and the nation’s 100th. This day marks the end of one of the longest Senate races in history. Franken was finally ruled the victor last week after months of appeal by Republican rival Norm Coleman.

  • You think that he is less qualified than a an bad actor, who is a foreigner btw, and a professional wrestler?
And what about Regan? He was an actor that became president.

You have to be smart to be a satirist. But apparently you don't have to be smart to be a governor, Palin is a great example of that.
