Has you dryer ever quit on you?

My dryer was accidentally running empty (weird I know, I thought there were clothes in there and I was just trying to tumble them for a few minutes before folding) and when I realized it, I threw some clothes in and tried to restart it. It made a loud "EEEHHHHHHHH" noise and now it won't start. Is it dead, or is there anything I can do to fix it?

  • If it gets hot but doesn't turn then chances are your belt broke. Pop off the lid carefully and check.

  • Thanks girls, it started by itself, it must have just overheated. Thank goodness, we don't have the money to buy a new one!
