  • that is very common in pregnancy its good to add more fiber and/or a prenatal vitamin with a stool softner in it. DO NOT take laxatives to relieve it, that can result in your baby passing a bowel in utero and that is very dangerous. Try not to eat foods that can constipate you further. Drink lots and lots of water!

  • Yes I was constipated the whole time! I ate so much and always wondered why it never came out. Where did it go?
    Try about 2 oz of warm prune juice before you go to bed.

  • always!!!! just don't push to hard. you can get hemorrhoids from doing that. like the other people said fiber and prune juice is great for it.

  • lmao...i think this is the most common prego symptom there is aside from morning sickness. like pp said, drink lots of water. what also helps is eating yogurt. doesn't even have to be activia, but natural is better than regular, not sure why. good luck and hang in there, this symptom will probably not go away, all you can do is try to make it better.
