If I win a million dollars in CA does anyone know approximately how much the state would tax me?

And if I won it at a casino on an Indian Reservation would the state be allowed to tax me at all?

  • Being on the Indian Reservation would mean nothing to you, you still get taxed. The gov't granted the Indian Reservations the right to use their land for casinos because they pay the gov't a portion of the proceeds AND winners pay tax.
