  • Jesus, my parents, aunts, uncles, friends of ours and my neighbor who just got back from Iraq. We don't hold up celebrities as anyone our children should aspire to be like.

  • Rosa Parks, Elizabeth Blackwell, Oprah, and i'm sure there are many more. I want my daughter to believe in herself, and feel that no matter what obstacle comes before her she can overcome it with sheer determination, and common sense.
