Did you know?

Hundreds of people have died in China since Sunday. There have been riots going on, so bad that China had to cancel their G8 participation to deal with it. It hasn't made much news since none of the hundreds that were murdered in the streets released any platinum albums 20 years ago, but they are still very much dead.

The government is now systematically hunting down the people they consider guilty so they can execute them. They will be very dead, too.

None of them were military, so to quote our resident military hating hippie, they didn't ask for it either.

  • I've read about this..tragic.

American media doesn't ever seem to concentrate on the plight of those around the world anyway.

  • Well what can we do? If we piss them off they will stop buying all of our bad debts...they will stop loaning us money...

  • I guess it is a matter of where you choose to get your news. I have read several stories about the Muslim Uighurs against Han Chinese riots since Monday. The latest riots have only been taking place since Sunday, that's 3 days.   China has followed another countries lead with shutting of wireless and Internet contact. Besides China hasn't really been very forth coming with information cause racial/class strife sure doesn't look good for a Communist country.

  • OP sorry but all the networks REPORTED are still reporting that. And it has nothing to do with MJ. Did you not see people were remembering MJ in China too?
