is it too early to test

i had some spotting today. i don't know if it is implantation or not. i am trying not to stress out. but that is becoming harder and harder. i have alot of the signs like back pain, stomach cramps, moody, and breast tenderness. and my period is late. but those are also signs of "FLOW" coming to visit. do you think it is too early to test again?

  • With some pee stick tests, you could get an accurate result as early as five days BEFORE your missed period. What that means is that you could get a positive result that early, but it's less accurate the earlier you use it. You'll just have to read the label on the test. The majority are 99% accurate AFTER the missed period anyway, since you're two weeks after conception at that point and the hCG levels are certainly detectable by this point.

If you have any doubts, obviously just see your doctor. Their blood test will let you know for sure either way.

  • As far as I know you can test the first day after your missed period. The symptoms could mean anything; Pregnancy is not diagnosed by symptoms, so take a test as soon as your period is a day or two late.
