  • My dd is almost three and I have close to complete numbness in the area of the bikini cut. I have wondered about this myself!

  • I have an area right above my incision and under my belly button that is still completely numb. My hubby didn't believe me until I let him pinch me as hard as he could (or would cause he wouldn't do it too hard). He believed me then. I think it's funny until I get an itch. Because no matter how much I scratch it doesn't help. I had the c-section in March of last year.

  • I too have numbness along the incision and my c/s was over 3.5 years ago.

  • It's normal. I never had a c-section, but I've had pelvic surgery, and my scar is in the same place as it would be if I had a c/s. My dr told me that nerves are so weird when they're cut, you never know what's going to happen. I'm numb about 1/2" all around my scar.

  • Numbness is totally normal and can possibly never return.

  • I didn't have a c-section but I did have a hysterectomy 8 years ago and the area of the incision is numb.
