What was your fetal heart rate?

So there's the myth if the fetal heart rate is higher than 140 that it's supposed to be a girl. Has anyone kept an eye on this? My FHR at my first appointment was 172 and at my last appointment it was 150... :)

  • Nope my son's has always been in the 140 - 160 range and he's definitely a boy (we'll see if they made a mistake when I'm induced this weekend, but I've had LOTS of ultrasounds since I'm high risk and there's no mistaking his boy parts)

  • My older two daughters were in the 140-160 range, my last daughter was always 120's to 130's...never went over 140. Just remember the first thing you said in your post...it's a myth.
