The dentist gave me some stuff to sedate Dude for his appt tomorrow; anyone else had to do this? Any side affects? Are just super numb? Did you have to carry them?

  • my grandson has to be sedated before dental work. It just makes them mellow. They can still walk, no side effects for my grandson.

  • Demeral is what they gave my lil guy. I gave it to him 1 hour before, I don't think it had time to do much, before we where already there. He was a lil sleepy and lazy the rest of the afternoon, but that was about it. I think they gave him "laughing gas"too
Our problem was that while numb he bite the inside of his cheek so bad that when the numb wore off he was in major pain. Barely ate for a few days. So be carefully while he is still numb, it is so new to them.
