How do you stop a 15 month old from biting?

I have recently gotten 2 reports at school about my daughter biting other kids and I dont know how to stop it, but I certainly dont want her biting other children. PLS ADVISE!

  • I bit mine back... she hasn't laid her teeth on anyone since. Of course, don't bite hard! I didn't even leave teeth maks... just a little red spot. She will cry and then explain how biting hurts her and everyone she bites.

  • I put my son in a time out in his crib every time he bit me. It took a few days (he was also younger) but it worked. He no longer bites.
