if u are really tired or sick, what is the thing most likely you'll skip for the day/nite?

when my knee is acting up I skip their bath and on the rare occasion I have a migraine I skip taking them outside and pop in a movie.... and if it's been a terrible day we get take out or food delivered instead of cooking

  • everything lol. i can normaly take a headache or whatever but if i'm really not feeling well i skip everything. they're pretty good. i'll get up and make them breakfast like normal, but then i'll turn on Noggin while they play in the living room, while i lay on the couch. sometimes i nod off, but my 2 year old is way more than willing to wake me up, especially at lunch time, lol. but nap time is 1230-4, so i'd take a nap too. i don't normally skip things for them, maybe a bath here and there, but it's the house i kinda let go.

  • There's plenty I can skip with my 6yo stepson but I have a 6 week old now and I am so scared to get sick! I'm pretty sure I can't skip anything when it comes to a newborn!! ;)

  • Baths are put off. I might not cook dinner, just have order in or such.

  • I have a 13 yr old, I can skip everything and he will be ok. He cooks for himself, cleans, etc. I have someone that will take him anywhere that I need him to go.

  • I skip housework since I can't afford to skip any toddler time w/ DD. I won't get dressed or I'll ignore the cats. That's about it. Everything else has to be done.

  • I skip reading time and go straight to bed time. I may just let my toddler eat finger foods and sleep in his t-shirt rather than fight through pajamas and a bath. Or have DH do all of it.
