How much milk does your 1 year old drink a day?

My daughter will be one just days from now and I was just wondering how much whole milk do you give your one year old? How often? Which sippy cup is your babies favorite?

  • my DD is almost 13 months & she drinks around 2 cups of milk a day. thats what her pedi told me to give her. she gets it in 3 installments, basically breakfast, lunch, & dinner. she likes the nubby sippies best b/c she's teething like crazy & likes to chew on them haha

  • Zero whole milk. They always got 6-8oz of 2% with each meal, 20-24oz per our pediatrician.

They each did well with a Nuby sippy cup. (started at 6 months)

  • My 18 month old doesn't drink cow's milk much. He does like it but he doesn't need it. He still nurses constantly so I'm not concerned about his nutrition.
