  • It was colon cancer that spread to anal cancer. It's all connected in there. And Yes, colon cancer is hereditary. My father passed away from it last year. I am geneticallypre-disposed to coloncancer and so is my sister, and I have to get a colonoscopy every 2 years as a precaution.

  • I read a history on her and found out when she was only a month or two old, she had a tumor removed from her intestine. I don't know if it was cancer, but since she had anal cancer, I wonder if it was genetic?

  • She died from anal cancer that she was fighting for over 2 years. A person can get cancer anywhere. I think it is more common than people think, it just has a stigma because it is anal cancer.
