Do infections cause a delay in menustrating?

I think I may have an infection and I am going to the doctor tomorrow but I have concerns that it may be delaying my period....does anyone know if having an infection causes you to not have your cycle...help

  • Yes, an infection can as well as stress, exercising, or any illness.
