Starchy veggies like potatoes (white or sweet), peas, corn and winter squash are considered to have significant carbs. As a diabetic I have to be careful of my intake of those veggies. Dry beans & lentils are also starchy but they have enough fiber to make them a good choice for limited consumption if you are on a low carb diet. Carrots are high on the glycemic index but you have to eat a LOT of them for them to be considered high carb. Other veggies are low carb.....tomatoes, onions, sweet bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, cucumbers, summer squash, beets....
