What kind of travel documents will I need for my three kids?

We are just flying from Colorado to Florida. Their ages are 10, 3, 1. Thanks!

  • I usually take his birth certificate and some pictures. I never had any problems, if you have a passport take it, but you dont need it. If the father is not ging, just ask the airline comp.

  • As far as I know a school I.D. and for the babies there birth certificates but you may not even need that. Immunization records might help also. Have fun!!

  • My cousin and I took our kids to Baja California/Tijuana and we got scolded for not having their school id's. So you should be ok traveling within the continent.

  • Call the airline they will tell you. Kids your ages don't normally have school ID's so I would think birth certificates would be enough. Out of the US, you would need passports or passport cards for everyone to get back in the US from Mexico and Canada among other countries.

  • It depends on what airline you are using. They require different things. Like last year my sister went on vacation with my niece and she needed the birth certificate. But this year when we all went ( different airline) we didnt need anything. SO i would call and speak directly to an airline rep. and ask them.

  • My daughter flies all the time with me and has been flying since she was 4 weeks old and we never needed anything but her name.
