1 last cake question

when I cool a cake do I let it cool in the pan or on a rake?

  • when I make a cake I let each layer cool in the pan so that it is easier to take out and then I add the layers and put frosting or a filling between each layer. BUt I do that after its cooled u risk a disaster taking it out of the pan

  • oh and I cool for about 10 minuts on counter then I just put it in the fridge cuz I get imaptient

  • no disater when taking it out I made enough cakes to know but you can cool them either way it's just the cool much much faster when you pull them out of the pan,
    you just put your hand on the cake and flip the pan over slowly, just make sure you grease the pan before you put the batter in it that way the cake comes out faster
