hubby and I are asking for less hrs at work so we can get food stamps and housing! we just cant afford it. Also were ttc another baby

  • Why would you want to be on assisted living? I have been there. I would much rather support myself than to have the state do it.

  • You're asking for less hours because you can't afford it? Seems a little backwards to me. There are people who can't even get jobs, yet you're trying to work less. There's a flaw in the system if you receive it. Personally, I couldn't do something like that.

  • hope you are not serious my husband is the only one working and we dont get any state assistance are paying 600 a month +utilities and our own food and whatever else we need and have for bills on 1600 a month income we also have 3 kids 7 and under

  • I think thats sad. It's hard for me but I wouldn't ask for less hours to receive food stamps. I think that is the most outrageous thing to do for your family. Keep the hours and try to buget your income.
