  • thrush does cause pain in the process of getting my baby all better from it and before i took her to the doctor she was screaming crying 24/7 no matter what you tried to do to soothe her, even after she fell asleep she would wake up within an hour and it would start all over again also i couldnt get her to eat becuz it hurt her to eat, in the middle of feeding her she would pull away and start screaming..and since shes been on the medicine for it, shes been back to her normal self, only cries when shes hungry...there isnt really much you can do, except go to the doctor and get baby was feeling better that same night that i took her to the doc...i know its frustrating...i was ready to pull my hair out! hang in there!

  • soothe? you mean like the child is in pain? if they're in pain, then it's not because of the thrush...or do you mean what do you need for it? i say go to walgreens and get Gentian Violet. walmart won't have it. works within days, faster than what the doc gives. stains clothes though, so keep a big bib on!
