My six month old sleeps for 12-13 hours a night

Do you think that this is normal? She naps during the day as well.

  • Be thanking the Lord above....(if you believe that is...) that your baby sleeps that long! And it is totally normal! My 7 month old just started!

  • I was starting to worry about my daughter recently too. She's 4 months and she just started sleeping 10-14 hours at night. Like clockwork, at night she's in bed at 6:30, and than gets up at 6am, eats, sometimes goes right back to sleep for a few more hours, sometimes not. It's great for me!!!

  • That is wonderful. They need 11-13 hours at night plus 2-3 naps for a total of 2-3 hours. Congratulations! That is definitely not norm although my DD who is now 4.5 months has done this since she was 2 months old and we started a bed time routine,
