  • i used to think eww no!. now i've done alot of research, and consulted my doctor, and i would say it's a gross thought, but may just be worth it.

  • Never, but at my birthing class with my first born--there was a mother there with her daughter. The mom said the placenta looked like pot roast. There was a very uncomfortable silence, and then laughter. Eating it, not matter what it looked like is not for me.

  • When this came out before, I Googled recipes and there are a ton of recipes for placenta lasagna, placenta burgers, you name it, if you can make it with beef, you can make it with placenta....YUCK!

    Maybe some cultures do this...I have only seen this eaten once and that was when my dog had her puppies...even then I thought is was gross...
