  • I guess, in a way lol. Pretty gross to think about. But almost all other animals eat the placentas of their young when they're born. It's socially acceptable in other parts of the world. Thank God it's not here though.
    I wish I would've at least gotten to see the placenta when my daughter was born though. :( It all went so fast.

  • it's not another human. it's her own body part. it's not like any woman would ever eat another womans placenta.
    besides, there is research that suggests it may prevent PPD

  • I think in some places it's a cultural thing too.

    I'm not into that kind of stuff...blach!! I guess if you wanna eat your placenta then go right on ahead. Don't offer me any though!!
