I was just told that you can't eat cucumbers while breastfeeding?

  • It can give the baby gas, but not always. If your baby has gas you may want to stop eating cucumbers.

    if your dr didnt tell you then dotn worry about it

  • huh? I never heard of that. I think i ate them when I was bf. I only did it for 7 weeks though, so I cant be sure.

  • I think some people feel it causes gas in the infant. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but I think that is why someone said that.

  • Seriously, anything everything causes gas. Sooo just stop eating, and it will all be good. -rolls eyes- Don't smoke, don't drink and beware of the meds you take.

    What are they going to tell you next. Stop breathing?

  • It depends on the baby. My oldest I couldn't eat any kind of nuts or dairy. Middle one it was broccoli and onions. And with my daughter I could eat anything. It really depends on the child.
