Feeding question for 6 wk old daughter,,,

Is it common for babies to eat every two hours at 6 wks old? Shouldn't she be getting to the point of eating every 3-4 hours soon? She is currently taking 4 oz. and will not take anymore. She will sometimes stop at 3 oz even. I don't recall my son doing this, is this normal or not?

  • As long as you are feeding on demand and letting your little one direct you you're good. My first son only took 5 oz at a time when he was 6 months. Every child is different. If you are ff they say 2.5 oz per pound that she weighs.
