Why does my toddler constantly whine?

Up until about two weeks ago we had an angel for a little girl. But something must have changed, now she constantly whines and cries for absolutely no reason. My husband and I are at the end of our ropes. Please help....

  • It may be a form of temper tantrum. My daugther 4 whines when she is hungry or hurt. My youngest 19 months crys for the both or if she gets into trouble. But how I got that limitted to that, was to tell her I can't understanding you when you are whinning. It works, except for hungry or hurt and who can blame them then.

  • I'm with you on this one. I just keep telling him NO WHINING! and Use your big-boy voice!
    Hopefully it's a short stage...
