  • Games:

Get a pack of newborn diapers and some sharpie markers. Put them in a basket at the front door and ask everyone to write helpful hints, funny anecdotes, etc. on the diapers. This way, when mom and dad are up in the middle of the night about to pull their hair out with a newborn baby, they'll have cute little messages to read on the diapers. You can even string up a line with safety pins and pin the diapers on them so guests can read them.

The safety pin game: Give everyone a safety pin and pick a word that normally would be said at a shower and tell everyone they can't say it. (i.e. baby, boy, girl, baby's name, etc.) When you catch someone saying the word, you steal their safety pin. The person with the most at the end of the game wins a prize.
