Has anyone had this problem with their boy?

He writes some letters and numbers backwards constantly! (he's not dyslexic because he passed the test)

  • I don't have this problem with my kids, but I wrote b's, d's and p's all pretty much interchangably until I was in about 3rd grade and tested as not dyslexic.

  • A lot of kids do that when they are learning how to write. They'll eventually grow out of it.

  • Maybe after he writes the backward letters, take the sheet to a mirror and show him the reflection. You can then tell him that is how the letters should look...without using the mirror. It may inspire him to try to write them correctly.
