  • I'd overcook a small amount for your 6 month old, not process them.. overcooked will be much softer.

  • Can they pick up soft foods and feed themselves If so, they can have spagetti ... or anything else soft enough to gum up. Some babies don't want anything but breastmilk/formula until 8-9 months -- occassionally longer. They doesn't NEED anything but milk yet, so if they are indifferent, try it. It really won't hurt them if you do it a few times.

  • Wheat is an allergy trigger food. If they are rice noodles, then you can puree a bit.

  • yes - but make sure it's cut up really small and give her small bites at first until they get used to chewing

  • I mashed up spaghetti for my son at that age and he loved it. He also had mashed up soup, watery mashed potatoes, applesauce...all kinds of softer foods. I come from a large Italian family and we always fed all the kids this way and NONE of us have food allergies. If he likes it and has no problems, keep doing it. If he has problems then stop.
