Do these healthy, green nuts drive you crazy, like they do me?

I am all for not being wasteful and recycling, yada yada, but there is a fine line between being Earth conscious and a green nut!!!

  • I don't hate them. But I do think it's crazy to take some fad/scam so seriously. The earth was hear before us and will run it's course nothing to save IMHO. Just be responsible not extreme and live your life is what I think.

  • yes some people can certainly be green nazis and look down at those who use disposable diapers, or choose plastic at the grocery store etc.... I try to be earth conscious but yes I shop at Walmart, and living in the county i dont get city trash pickup, so we have private pickup but no recycling. we now have to pay an expensive yearly fee to use the county dump, where I used to recycle. so I end up throwing out a lot of stuff I'd recycle otherwise and I have so much guilt now =(

  • Some people just go over board. What I don't understand is, on kid shows they tell the kids to not "waste" water, like letting it run while you brush your teeth. What's the reason for that, water is pretty much recycled and I don't think we can run out of it. They say "don't waste water or else there won't be enough for everyone else". Is that just so the parents are happy with a lower water bill? Or can you actually "waste" water?
