does liquid plumer work?

the drain in the master bath sink and the 2nd bath tub are slow. and i was wondering if this was a simple sensible solution.

  • put a stopper in the sink & plunge the bathtub & see if that helps

  • I use it from time to time when needed. I also use draino. Not that it needs to be said, but keep all strong chemicals carefully locked away from little ones.

  • Have you tried the baking soda and vinegar method? pour a box of baking soda down the drain and then most of a bottle of vinegar.

  • Never used Liquid Plumber. I've always used Draino and I love it!

  • they do eventually eat away at your pipes. In all honesty your best bet is to go to the hardware store and get a hand auger, it's a mini snake, the kind of tool a plumber uses, you can get one for as little as $10 and always have it for your drains!

  • I always use the Liquid Plumber Foaming Pipe Snake. Works wonders. But first pull the sink stopper & the grate off of the bath tub drain & pull out any hair that is caught. We have to do this at least 2x per year. the hair gets caught & causes a slow drain.

  • I use it. I rent so i don't care about the pipes. I need unclogged pipes.
