What to serve for a Luau?

My Son's Birthday is coming up and we are having a huge Hawaiian Luau next month for his 9th Birthday. I am having troubles coming up with what to serve. It's going to be an evening Birthday around 6pm and all I have so far is teriyaki skewers, shrips skewers and fruit kabobs. I was thinking some cold salads but not sure what else or what kind. If you can give me some ideas on some hawaiian food I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

  • I would go for shish-ka-bobs. You can also make some cute friut dishes where you cut out the inside of a watermelon, pineapple, etc. and put cute shapes of fruit in them. I would also do some glazed chicken, etc.
