this is my first year in college,i wanna make business,butwhen i saw major i found branches like international buisness,or marketing etc,,wat do u think,(by the way i don't speak english very well and am going to take classes for this )

  • general business classes as a major ....then grab a communications course, an accounting class, marketing class (marketing is not advertising-two different things a lot of people confuse as one) then throw in just for good measure..business law class...that will give you a well round for just about any job out there.   • Depends on what you want to do. Being well-rounded is great, but a marketing degree doesn't qualify you for an accounting job and vice versa. Business communications is likely for people that plan to work in public relations, marketing, sales, business development, etc. Accounting is a numbers job, and takes a certain type of person that loves numbers, although the starting salaries are probably better.

    It's your first year, so take general classes and see if you migrate towards one topic. I started in business management and ended up in communications.
