Jello shots with tequila?

Has anyone ever made jello shots with tequilla? What is the ratio you use? Someone told me the tequilla wont freeze.

  • I've only had them with vodka...cheap vodka yuck! I bet a lime one would be awesome with tequila.

  • do it with everclear, and yeah you dont freeze jello shots, you put them in the fridge to mold just like regular.

    Everclear will get you drunk faster.

  • No you refrigerate Jello not freeze unless you do but I have never FROZE jello I refrigerate it. armywife9-2-08

  • How long will they last? If I make them today will they be good Fri night thru Sat night? Im going to make a couple batches.

  • Umm not sure when I make them i do it the night before and I put them in the fridge out in the garage so the kids don't think that I made JELLO for them.

  • Using the directions on the box, just replace the cold water in the directions with your alcohol. A small box uses 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of liquor, and a large box of Jello use 2 cups of each.
    And, yes, if you make them today, they should be fine for the weekend. I've kept them (well, the leftovers) for a week before. Just make sure you cover them after they set up.
