I bought a cheap pregnancy test today and the directions say For in-vitro diagnostic use only

and has a picture of using a dropper to apply urine to test.

Does the in-vitro reference the dropper?
What does in-vitro diagnostics use only mean?

  • in vitro diagnostic just means in a dish. It doesn't matter whether you use the dropper or not. I always found it easier to pee in a dixie cup and then use the little dropper. But it doesn't matter.
