  • Me and hubby have been there before. We put the kids to bed early, eat dinner together and then watched a movie. It was nice being able to spend some alone time together without all the screaming.

  • Or you could have the kids (if they are old enough!) take care of you for a change! Let them make dinner, bathe themselves, put themselves to bed (of course, depending on their ages, you would participate only as much as necessary). Let them show you their appreciation. It is a special day for your family!

  • Feed the kids first. Put them right to bed. save the "good" dinnre for you and hubby. set up the table with candles and wine and dim the lights. light soft romantic music in the backround. have a nice quiet dinner just you and hubby. take a nice bubble bath together or shower. and hit the sheets!! lol. or just watcha nice movie and cuddle on the couch. which ever one is fun for you!

  • Write each other a letter about what you admire most in the other. When the kids are asleep, read it out loud to each other in read them silently together...Take it from there!

  • I have been there many, many times. You can always rent movies and stay home, make a nice candlelight dinner or have people over for a party or barbecue, depending on your weather at the time of your anniversary, there are lots of things that you can do when you have no money and end up staying home. When the kids go to sleep, you and your hubby can think of ways to spice up your anniversary, such as role play, sexual board games or just make up your own sexual game. Heck, why not put on a dirty movie and have a few drinks and then go wild! (Just make sure your kids don't catch you in the act)!
