My son is constantly putting things in his mouth, how do I stop it!?!?

My son turned 2 last month and he is still putting things in his mouth all of the time. I am sure he has swallowed a couple coins. How do I put a stop to this? Other than putting things away, which I already do, but he still manages to find something to stuff in there.
