Why is no one talking about the C street cult the Family?

and how many senators and congressman live there? They dub themselves the "Christian Mafia".

In a 2008 promotional video, "Reclaiming 7 Mountains of Culture", Loren Cunningham describes a vision he shared along with the late Campus Crusade For Christ founder Bill Bright and late Christian theologian Francis Schaeffer, in which Christian fundamentalists could achieve world domination by taking over key sectors of society such as business, government, media, and education.

Francis Schaeffer is widely credited as one of the most influential theologians of the 20th Century Christian right. Among the myriad ministries of Bill Bright's behemoth Campus Crusade For Christ is the Washington D.C. ministry Christian Embassy that targets Pentagon leaders for evangelizing.

James Coburn, John Ensign and Mark Sanford are ALL living there

  • Because its just a cheap place to live for senators who can't afford the high cost of second homes. The liberal press is trying to make the prayer house out to be some sort of secret fundie cult prayer cell but many dems have stayed there as well. Its nothing but stupid lib myth.

And YESm there are DEMS and REPUBS that live there....

This group had an intervention for John Ensign (with Tom Coburn) made him write the infamous letter, took him to fed ex and made him over night it...he later called by pay phone to tell her he didn't mean it...It's weird, it's very cult-like and its disturbing that members of congress and the senate are targets for membership...
