Ok, I''m erked now

I asked the question about Fun dip and video games-
and now some mothers are like freaking out on me.
Am I wrong to say to my child
"Somethings are OK for mommy, and there NOT ok for you"
shouldnt he have to learn that at some point, why should I feel bad for taking away a video game thats perfectly ok for me to play, but VERY wrong for him to play.
I drink every once in a while, so because he can't drink should I NEVER allow beer in my house because its "NOT FAIR"
Jeeze!

  • No I dont think you are wrong.
I watch r rated movies, does that mean I should let my child? I dont think so.

I'm not a "Do as I say, not as I do" parent but jeez people have some common sense.

  • I'd say there's lots of things that are ok for parents to do, but not kids (I'm assuming it's a small child). Let's see driving, cooking on a hot stove, using matches and lighters, pumping gas, watching R movies, sex, PARENTING, and that's just to name a few. Some people just like to cause a stir OP, don't worry about them if they have nothing better to do than sit on CM and bash people.
