  • I try to keep my pantry stocked with things like spaghetti and macaroni, dry beans, rice and lentils, canned soups, veggies & fruits, oatmeal, flour, yeast, sugars (white, brown & powdered), spices, coffee & tea, and various baking supplies like cornstarch, baking soda and baking powder, salt, etc.

I have 2 extra freezers that I keep stocked with chicken (we raise our own), frozen veggies, other frozen meats, milk and bread (I make my own bread).

In my fridge, I keep stocked on raw carrots, celery, onions, fresh fruit in season, eggs and condiments.

  • Cereal, pastas, mac and cheese, soups, etc. Things that have long shelf lives and things that my son can make on his own (he is 13).
