In your personal opinion, is guilting a person into sex a form of rape?

Do you believe, in your personal opinion, that giving someone a guilt trip in order to pressure them to sleep with you, is a form of rape? Why or why not?

  • yes. it's called Date Rape. If a woman says "NO" then that should be the end of it and there should be no guilt about saying No if you don't want to do it.

  • No. Rape is done out of violence, not to get off. You still have a choice if somebody is just trying to make you feel guilty. If you are being raped you don't have a choice.

  • if someone tried talking you into shooting yourself in the head does that mean they are murderer, no cuz you willingly pulled the trigger this is no different you willingly spread your legs open (I mean everyone in general when I say you)

  • There are some diff forms of rape such as unconscious rape and rape with a minor with consent. But other wise it has to be done with fear or force.

  • It is not rape if you are talked into it, it is more doing it to shut the person up. You can't be guilted into sex. You still have a choice to say no and walk away. If after saying no and you are forced then it is rape but if you give in, it's not rape but pity sex.

  • From what I understand if a woman says no, that's the point. If she said no and he goes ahead, then it's rape. If he/she is a adult and the other is under age, that's statutory rape.

  • Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? Guilt IS a form of force....and absuive partners use it OFTEN...and yes, it IS a form of abuse.
