  • my son hates it too. so i try my best to keep him distracted. what works best is i tell our dog theres a squirrel outside and she goes crazy and starts barking so that distracts my son. haha.

  • lol I actually stopped triming them and started painting them... she's 20mos and it is MUCH easier that way!! when they get too long, they seem to "shed" the tips so i'm ok with that. I have really short nails and always bit time, i'm hoping if I let her get used to longer nails she will not bit or pick at them like I did. I can't pull out that fingernail clipper and get more than 1 nail done a week! so I just let them grow....

  • My son has always hated getting his nails clipped. One time he screamed so hard while we were clipping his nails that he burst blood vessels in his face! (And we have never ever clipped his skin). So we started letting him watch tv while we clip his nails. Lately, if I tell him he can watch, he doesn't fight it. You might try clipping your nail in front of her to show her it doesn't hurt, if that is what is bothering her.

  • I bite them off. Same with his fingers. He thinks its funny when I bite them but he hates it when I clip them.
