  • I think maybe he has a sore throat, if he doesnt eat anything in the next 2 hours then give him some pedialyte.

  • It does sound like a sore throat. Some iced ginger ale usually feels good to my throat. Try giving him a straw for sipping. The main concern is to keep him sipping a bit. Look in his throat to see if you think it sore. or ask him. Then some painkiller might help take the ache away. Cold stuff going down his throat may help it feel better. Or something warm and salty such as chicken broth.

  • thanks to all of you for the reply. he drank a couple of sips of juice, but he still didn't eat anything and then he went to sleep. i was hesitant about letting him go to sleep, but he didn't get to sleep till around midnight and was awake at 8:30 so i know he was tired. i am hoping when he wakes up he will be better. he doesn't talk that is why i am so frustrated becuase i didn't know what he wanted he was just as frustrated as i was, but i am thinking sore throat to becuase anytime he doesn't want juice something is defnately wrong.

    thanks again
