getting deyhaydrted bd spelling sorry! coming off bottle

so where i live is a 100 degrees plus... my son is 20 months and i admit a bottle addict.. no juice ever ever in the bottle.. most of time its 2/3milk a little water. bottle only at bedtime.. which i hoping to end soon. so i have been pushing the sippy cup all day.. letting him drink out of water bottles my cup of water... ie pushing fluids any way possible.. well since abt friday morning im starting to notice more dry diapers... i gave him a 80z bottle at bedtime last night.. woke up dry... should i give a bottle during the day today.. i know its not good and im weaning him awy.. but its 100 degrees// and a deyhradted toddler is not good either.. he could get sick.. thoughts.. thank u!

  • If he is dehydrated give him a bottle, nothing is worse than a baby on a drip because of dehydration. At the same time dont just give him the bottle offer him the other cups first

  • give the bottle!
    like kirsty said offer the cups first but if it wont have it then give the bottle...you can wean in a few months when it cools off.

  • oh...i thought about the Nuby brand sippy cups with the soft spouts...maybe try those

  • Ya nuby brand was what I used for my daughter, they are awesome they are almost like a nipple attatched to a sippy cup

  • Nuby brands are great. I used that brand when I started my son onto sippy cups.
