Italian Names

I am having a hard time figuring out another name for a boy. My first son's name is Lucca Romero and I want them to "go together." I like Apollo Renato, but it's not completely Italian! Anyone have suggestions for a great Italian name?

  • I, personally, would stay away from Apollo. I used to work at a vet, and know many many dogs with that name, including my own Shiloh Shepherd. Would you consider Anthony? It's similar and it looks great with Renato. You can be Lucca and Anthony's mom. I wouldn't "Americanize" it though. Pronounce it without the H.

  • Italian names are my FAVORITE!

My SO has a Luca and we have a Rocco together.

SO liked Nico, but to me it was a nickname for Nicola/Nicolas or Dominic/Dominick. Marco and Franco were also on our "matching" list of two-syllable Italian names with the "C" in the middle. I like the long, romantic names for middle names (Luca Giovanni, Rocco Luciano, etc.). The earlier suggestion of Marco Stefano is a great name. I also really like the name Enzo. Enzo Renato sounds really good with Lucca Romero.
