I forgot to turn off my cellphone today during church. Honest mistake, I have had a cell phone for 10 years this is the first time I forgot.
Have you ever forgot to turn your phone off?
Has your phone ever rang in church?
Has another person's phone rang in church? If so did you smile and ignore it or did you think how rude?

I just don't take my phone in with me. I don't need it during Mass so why take it. I can certainly understand if you have a child with medical issues why a person would bring their phone in church, but I don't see why anyone else would need to. I have seen a couple of doctors that were on call get a call and go outside to take the call, but I think it's rude to even take your phone if you absolutely don't have to. Of course, I also think it's rude to take calls at movies and to text people all though a movie... why even go if you're not going to watch it? It's so distracting. Ok I'm done with my rant... sorry.
